The Boilermakers union was formed in 1880 to give workers a voice on the job. While our union has evolved and expanded to represent workers inĀ heavy industry, shipbuilding, manufacturing, railroad, cement, mining and many other industries, our focus on organizing has remained a priority.
We believe every worker deserves decent wages, good benefits, safe working conditions, basic respect and fair treatment on the job. That means every worker needs a voice on the job through union representation.
Powered by the M.O.R.E. Work Investment Program, our union has achieved big wins organizing in the Southeast Area. Here are some of our latest achievements.
